Service terms
Terms
These terms explain the account, reviewer-profile and technical-context conditions for using the GenMedia evaluation workspace.
Effective 18 August 2026
Account access
Internal workspace access requires a valid, verified email account and secure credentials. A public Evaluation invitation may be completed without an account, but it authorizes only its single blinded Evaluation Task and does not expose Projects, Datasets, candidate identities, results or administration tools. Do not attempt to reveal blind candidate identities or access information outside your assigned work.
Required reviewer setup
Before using the registered reviewer workspace, you must provide a country, primary language, age range, preferred evaluation display and at least one preferred media type. GenMedia uses these fields to route work, check cohort coverage and operate evaluation programs. Account-free reviewers instead complete the task-specific brief, human verification and device/media preflight shown by their invitation. Rater Pool management exposes aggregate match counts and saved filter criteria, not a reviewer directory.
Technical service context
At authenticated login and during a platform session, GenMedia records a coarse technical snapshot: approximate network country, browser family, operating-system family, locale, timezone, viewport and screen size bands, and connection class where the browser makes it available. This context supports compatibility, evaluation quality, aggregate operations and authorized task-scoped Session review. Session review uses a task-specific pseudonym and does not expose your account identity. The reviewer-context record does not store your raw user-agent text, IP address, exact screen dimensions, fingerprint identifiers or arbitrary browser JSON.
Evaluation sessions may also use a random first-party browser cookie transformed into a keyed one-way digest for duplicate-account and automation-abuse controls. This binding is not a hardware or browser fingerprint. Shared-browser evidence is assessed conservatively with other quality signals and can be reviewed by authorized operators.
Account-free invitations additionally use keyed digests of the invitation, network address and bounded user-agent value to enforce link limits and reduce repeated participation. The raw values are not stored in the guest-evaluation tables. An operator can explicitly allow a shared office or lab network, but device binding, human verification, rate limits and task scoping still apply.
Optional accessibility information
Hearing-support information is optional health-related data. It is not required to use GenMedia, it is not bundled into acceptance of these Terms, and it is stored only after a separate affirmative acknowledgement in your reviewer profile. Sharing it with authorized task operators uses another profile control. Optional Session vision and color-vision answers use a separate Session-level sharing control. You can omit these fields without losing Evaluation access.
Evaluation conduct
Review media carefully, follow the displayed protocol and submit your own judgment. Do not automate votes, coordinate answers, manipulate sessions or copy confidential prompts and outputs outside their permitted project context. Evaluation decisions, timing and protocol-health events may be retained as evidence for result quality and auditability.
Changes and account controls
GenMedia may update product rules when evaluation protocols or operational requirements change. Material changes should be reflected in an updated effective date or a new acknowledgement. You can update reviewer preferences and future staffing participation from Settings; previously frozen task and staffing snapshots remain immutable so historical results stay reproducible.
